Anabelle’s Birthday
After a couple of trips, a lot of snuggles, and a half marathon, the MacDonald household is finally calming down enough for me to re-cap our trip to Florida in September to celebrate Anabelle’s first birthday party! It was also the first time that Lillian and Anabelle met in person (they’ve Skyped multiple times before, of course!)
Lillian really enjoyed all of the animals on the farm. My favorite part was when she made the donkey noise! We had tons of fun and Lillian did wonderfully on the airplane! Overall, it was a great trip and I’m sure that Lillian and Anabelle will be great friends growing up!
Fall Fashion
A couple of weekends ago, my Mom was in town to visit with me and Lillian. I was able to sneak away to update Lillian’s wardrobe for the fall at a nearby outlet mall! It was a very successful trip. At my first stop, I found the cutest pair of leather boots that I used as my muse for the rest of the shopping excursion. So…her fall outfits will be dresses and boots, skirts and boots, and leggings and boots – of course! I can’t wait to dress my little lady up!
Toddlers in the Mountains
Lillian and I had a great time in the Smoky Mountains a couple of weeks ago! She and Jameson had a blast all weekend playing together!
Zoo
One of my favorite Sunday morning activities is heading to the zoo with Lillian! She has TONS of things to say these days about the animals and rides. She was particularly thrilled when we rode the ‘merry-go-round-round’ multiple times in a row!
Lillian also embraces all of the animals, BIG and small! She was pumped about her face-to-face with the giant polar bear, and she will make all of the animal noises that she can! We can usually get in a good 2-3 hours before having to head home to lunch. This particular visit, she immediately fell asleep upon leaving the parking lot, took a long nap that I had to wake her up from, and feel asleep during her bedtime story at night! We love the zoo!
This weekend we take off on another adventure to a cabin in the Smoky Mountains! It is sure to be a great time with our friends! Maybe we will see one of these guys in the trees…
