Baby Voting

Lillian and I have been out and about walking all over the neighborhood! We live in a really great area, within a mile we can walk to the grocery store, Gap, or the voting precinct!!

Halloween Baby Crab

For Halloween, Lillian was a crab! While, she wasn’t in the costume for long (that sucker was a sauna!), she was in it long enough for lots of family members to stop by for a photo-op!

Baby in Pumpkin Patch

IMG_8094.JPG
During Lillian’s stay with Grandma and Grandpa MacDonald, we visited a pumpkin patch! I intensely exploited her cuteness all over the farm! She had a great time, and even got a kick out of watching the little piglets run around their momma!

Baby Eating Peas

We have begun to introduce REAL food to Miss Lillian! She has been munching on rice cereal and oatmeal for about a month now and has been loving it! She was definitely ready to step it up a notch! Our first pick was peas, (see below), and she quickly gobbled down squash after that. Our pediatrician recommended waiting a few days between new foods to make sure she doesn’t have an allergic reaction, so we’ll probably introduce green beans soon!

Lillian and the Great Pumpkin

Lillian and I snuggled up and watched the classic Charlie Brown Halloween special the other day! She is beginning to understand TV…probably because I am obsessed, and I think she enjoyed it too! Check back next week for pictures of Lillian in her Halloween costume!

September Sylvania Visit

We are just now starting to get our wits about us, here at the MacDonald household. We have one remaining trip to make up to Sylvania this weekend, then we are DONE-ZO until the holidays! Woohoo!

I think the beginning of all of this traveling began back in September. At this point, I can’t remember why we were there or what we did, but I do have pictures!!

Fall Preview

It’s been a busy fall and we have rarely spent a weekend at home…including this one! Brian and I are in Columbus to celebrate our friends, Andy and Manek, wedding. Lillian remains in Sylvania with Grandma and Grandpa MacDonald. Once we get through this weekend, I’ll hopefully get some pictures up of how Lillian has spent her first Fall season, but until then, I will leave you with a little glimpse into our trip to the pumpkin patch! Have a good weekend!

I Never Want to Forget…

The feeling of Lillian cuddling into me for comfort.

Back with Baby!

I returned from Las Vegas early Tuesday morning and am just now getting my wits about me to recap my trip and Lily’s stay thus far in Sylvania. I’ll recap my trip first and get it out of the way since I know you all care more about Lillian!

I had a great time in Vegas!!! Spending the days at the pool was so nice and I am enjoying a bit of a tan now that things are turning cold in Ohio! The Justin Timberlake concert was amazing – his guests included Jay Sean, Taylor Swift, Alicia Keys, Ciara, TLC, and Snoop Dog – incredibly entertaining! I let my friends take most of the pictures so I could dance my little heart out! The rest of the trip was very spontaneous, from visiting an ice lounge to skydiving…yep, I did that, it was a really great trip! As far as skydiving goes, it was awesome and I highly recommend it – it was not scary at all because it all happens so quickly! Because it all went so fast, I don’t have any pictures and I chose not to buy the personalized video for $90…look at the video on the website and picture my face…it’s probably the same experience! I would definitely be up for going again if anyone wants to join me!

Now, on to Lillian! Grandma Mary Ellen was very diligent about sending me pictures of Lily while I was away, and from what I hear, she was a perfect angel! I am spending a few days with her here in Sylvania until I return back to Cincinnati to join Brian on a trip to Columbus for our close friends wedding. Grandma Bonnie will be bringing Lillian back to Cincinnati on Sunday since Grandma is working in Cincinnati the following week!
