Lillian definitely has my genes and loves hamming it up while singing karaoke! Soon enough, we will be spending our days performing duets together while playing American Idol on the Wii!
Only a small part of me wanted to post this video in order to show off Lillian’s development with her crawling up the stairs. Another small part of me wanted to post this video as a reminder to myself to buy additional baby gates for the bottom of our staircases. A big part of me, however, wanted to post this video because it is so stinkin’ cute and I know that you will be watching it more than once!!!
It appears that Lillian is anxious to walk because she is now pulling herself up to standing! She first did it about a week ago when visiting Grandpa Mark – what a treat to have a ‘first’ occur during the visit!
It is now pretty much impossible to keep anything on the coffee table, or any other surface that is low to the ground for that matter. She enjoys eating remote controls, pens, bobby pins, and paper.
Many of our faithful readers have let us know that they missed catching up with little Lillian last week. I apologize, the little miss has had a bit of a cold and has been a snotty mess so we haven’t been up to too much.
Things did start to clear up this weekend though, and thankfully so, because Lillian got to meet all of my college roommates who were in town for a fellow Boardwalk-er’s wedding! Of course, she showed the group all of her tricks from waving and saying ‘Hi’, to flashing many cute smiles! She even got a taste of her first cupcake from Abby Girl Sweets, they were delicious!
The visit also meant that she got to meet the latest Boardwalk addition – Nash Vrabel! Lillian was so sweet and kept patting little Nash’s head while he slept. Another friend made for the little lady. Another boy, of course.
These days Lillian is crawling, rolling, pulling up, and cruising. She is an active little lady! However, she hasn’t quite learned how to move herself around on her toy truck. Daddy helps her out and she really enjoys it!
