Potty Training Toddler

The video was to announce that Lillian peed in the potty for the first time yesterday! As an added bonus, I thought it was really funny how intent she was on showing Duke the lotion samples.

But, YES! Lillian peed in the potty! I never thought that I could cry over urine, but it happened! I bought her this cute little duck potty (she loves to say ‘Duck’ and ‘Quack Quack’), and the first time she sat on it, she peed after a few minutes! Of course, Mommy had to sit on the big potty next to her and show her how it is done, but she seemed to get the hang of it quite quickly! She is obsessed with tearing off toilet paper and wiping herself too!

So I’m not sure what things look like from here on out, surely it will still take some time to be fully potty trained. We are definitely headed in the right direction, and soon enough we will be diaper free!
