Still Summer
I did it again! Forgotten about blog – RIGHT HERE! I have been having fun with this super cute little girl, here! It is still summer and we have been out and about! There was a slight dip in the temperatures there for awhile so we dusted off the jogging stroller and hit the pavement! Lillian cracks me up out on the trail! Not only does she wave and say ‘Hi’ to each person we pass, but she periodically will look up at me through the little window in her shade and give me the cutest grin. I smile back at her through my sweat and gasping breaths as I run!
It is so great that she can do more on her own these days. Like today, after spending over an hour in the pool, I could put her down on the pavement and get her towel and what not all situated correctly. If you know about my issues with water, you will appreciate how useful it was knowing that we wouldn’t be dripping inside the house! She can also help pick up her toys at the end of the day. Her job is to put all of the little farm animals back in the barn. Then she will crawl up the stairs to her room.
Speaking of her room, we finally lowered the crib mattress to its lowest point this weekend. Isn’t it wild to think that the next step is a big girl bed?! We will savor this crib for as long as we can.
